Ground-Air Heat Exchanger as Passive Cooling In Building Ventilation

Energy consumption for air conditioning systems and thermal comfort in a building Indonesia is quite high. The solution that can be developed to use the inertia stored soil. This research aims design test effectiveness of heat transfer between soil-air as passive coolant ventilation systems. was conducted 48 hours, incoming velocity 4.68 m/s, measurement results showed various weather temperature conditions including average light intensity 1822.6 Lux, ambient 28.4 °C, humidity 99.4%, room 30 water 28 °C soil 28.1 maximum value 2.46 minimum 0.9. Experimental show groundwater-air used cooling provide good performance with reductions reaching 2-10°C.
 Konsumsi energi untuk sistem pengkondisian udara dan kenyamanan termal bangunan di cukup tinggi. Salahsatu solusi yang dikembangkan ialah menggunakan inersia tersimpan dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang-bangun serta menguji efektivitas perpindahan kalor antara tanah-udara sebagai pendingin pasif pada ventilasi bangunan. dilakukan selama jam kecepatan masuk 4,68 hasil pengukuran menunjukan berbagai kondisi cuaca maupun suhu meliputi intensitas cahaya rata-rata 1822,6 lingkungan 28,4 kelembapan 99,4 %, ruangan temperatur tanah 28,1 nilai maksimum sebesar 2,46 0,9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digunakan memiliki kinerja baik dengan pengurangan mencapai 2-10°C.
